DON'T JUST BE A TOURIST!

For over 20 years, ICCE has sponsored a varied program of expert-guided, affordable trips with many themes, including opera and the performing arts in Europe. In addition to cultural trips, we offer learning vacations, language immersion programs, and art, music, painting, and other study abroad programs. ICCE invites you to join a congenial group in traveling and exploring a world of great ideas.

Our adult trips are not the "standard, grand tour of Europe." You'll have guided cultural and sightseeing visits to the historic, musical, artistic, and scenic high points of our destinations. Trip leaders and discussants are experts in their fields and our guides are sensitive to the places you visit, chosen for their knowledge and expertise. Our student trips offer more than academic value.

A basic concept of all trips is that we try to point you to a cultural taste of the "real" Europe, and not the canned, Americanized, tourist bus version. We get off the beaten path tourist track some of the time, get to meet Europeans, and get to see some aspects of opera and Europe that tourists rarely see or experience. The focus of your ICCE Trip is to learn and experience opera, music, theatre, dance, or painting, and more about the culture and background in which they flourish.

TRIPS ARE AFFORDABLE: The price of your trip is about half the usual trip price because ICCE is a non-profit, educational-cultural organization, which offers many different and outstanding adult learning-vacation programs. You and your friends may be interested customized trips for yourselves, or in recommending them to your clubs, organizations, professional associations, alumni groups, etc. Keep us in mind.
